My name is Matt Barry, I'm reaching out on behalf of St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill, NY. We're in the midst of putting together a Collegiate Sprint Football team for 2018. We’re excited about the prospect of joining the league and being the first collegiate football team in Rockland County. I’m reaching out to see if you have any Student/Athletes that might be interested in playing next year who meet the requirements.
In case you’re unfamiliar, sprint football is a full-contact, intercollegiate, varsity sport following NCAA rules for players who are 178 pounds or less. The great part of this sport is that we get a chance to play Army, Navy, UPenn, and Cornell. This is a golden opportunity for High School players to continue to play this great game of ours at a high level. Here's a little bit about the school: STAC is a Division II athletic program featuring highly competitive track, basketball, baseball, lacrosse and golf teams. We offer more than 60 majors including business, sports management, education and exercise science.
